It is feasible to me that the coastline of Northern California may very well have looked like this in many places 5,000 years ago. There is no indication of humanity in the scene, hence the name. The view encompasses Blind Beach, looking south. The painting has just been sold from Bodega Landmark Gallery It is oil on canvas, 16 x 20.
