"Breakers" is a 20" x 58" oil on canvas and features a powerful set of waves getting ready to pound the beach. The scene has a very northern California feeling. The sea around here is cold and gray all year round so I often punch up the turquoise and greens to make the waves seem a little more inviting but not in this case. This is what the buyer loved about the piece. "It feels like our ocean" she says and she's right. It does.
