This collection of wavescapes in oil are generally three or more times longer than they are high. This panoramic aspect ratio deviates a bit from your typical painting and tends to lend itself nicely to the wave image. It allows me as a painter to focus wholly on the waves without the distractions of rocks, beach and sky. Another plus is that people often have in their homes or offices interesting wall spaces on which these paintings can be displayed to great effect. Most are large pieces, often 20" x 60" or so.
