Big Sur is a famous and beautiful stretch of coastline along the central California coast. Magnificent fog-shrouded cliffs descend into the turquoise waves of the Pacific. Kelp forests abound and the sound of barking seals is commonplace. I've done several oil paintings of the Big Sur coast and will surely do a few more before I'm done.
