24 x 36, oil on canvas. Depicts the beach between Goat Rock and the the Russian River. The distant, almost replica of Goat Rock is Arch Rock, (the arch not visible from this angle). It was commissioned by a retired couple who fell in love while walking this beach during WW II. They were part of a U.S. force stationed here to protect the west coast from a possible Japanese attack after Pearl Harbor. A military installation was built on the bluffs and disguised as a sheep ranch. Sold
