Acrylic, airbrush painting by Tom Rissacher this depicts a magnificent surf spot on the Island of Hawaii. In 1990 lava from Kilauea volcano destroyed it along with other quality breaks nearby. Also obliterated were the pristine black sand beaches and the entire community of Kalapana. 24”x 48”, Richardson collection.

The gallery wrap allows for attractive presentation framed or unframed, with continuation of the image along the edges. Each print is made by the artist at his studio in Sebastopol, CA. After mounting, he applies a brushstroke texture to each piece.
